The Challenge
The United Explorer card was refreshed with new benefits to reward you both inside and outside the airport—and we needed to make a splash.
The Insight
With so many new ways and places to earn more miles than ever, everything you do and everywhere you go is a chance for a little “win.”
The Solution
We placed Tracee Ellis Ross at the center of our campaign, moving through the world to the refrain of “Rewarded.” With her signature warmth and joyful approach to life, Tracee embodied all the emotions our Cardmembers feel when earning and using their benefits. Tracee appeared wherever media offered sight, sound and motion, and we created a visual mnemonic—the “Rewarded” flag—to stand in for her voice in static environments. Both the card, and our campaign, reaped rewards wherever it went.
