Los Angeles – (May 4, 2021) – Quigley-Simpson announced today the appointment of Jared Vail as Vice President of Analytics. In this role, he will lead the agency’s data and analytics practice to evolve the data infrastructure and launch new strategic services that create bespoke, nimble solutions to drive brand growth and bottom-line results. He will be working in close collaboration with agency leadership to identify opportunities for deeper consumer engagement across a significant portfolio of clients in CPG, finance, D2C, healthcare, and not-for-profit. Among Vail’s priorities is to further develop Quigley-Simpson’s TV-to-web and offline attribution modeling, develop automated data streams and feeds to expediate media investment decisioning, and advance the agency’s performance forecasting tools.

Vail will report to Scott Marsden, EVP of Media & Analytics, Quigley-Simpson.

Vail is a highly experienced data leader, with a history of building teams throughout his career. In his most recent role as Director, Analytics & Marketing Science at VideoAmp, Vail spearheaded the creation of a new Marketing & Science department. Working across the entertainment and gaming verticals, he developed tune-in and gaming attribution capabilities that did not exist prior, creating a revenue stream that was significant for the company’s growth. There, he worked with top-brand clients, including FOX, Disney, HBO, and NBA 2K.
Prior to his game-changing work at VideoAmp, Vail was the Associate Director, Data & Analytics at Publicis Groupe for over four years. At Publicis Groupe, Vail was responsible for greatly reducing the employee turnaround rate of the Data & Analytics team. His exceptional team-building abilities helped create a larger, more stable team that developed outstanding work for clients such as Cox Communications, Bank of the West, and the NBA. In addition to his work for Publicis Groupe, Vail worked as a Senior Associate at UM Worldwide, where he led accounts for BMW and Ignite Restaurant Group.
